The Northern Rivers region of NSW was severely affected by the March 2021 floods, which displaced many residents and damaged their properties.

The NSW RA was tasked with leading the recovery and reconstruction efforts in the region, and established the Resilient Land Program to provide safe, affordable and sustainable housing options for flood-impacted residents.

The NSW RA engaged LandIT to provide real estate and commercial services to support the implementation of the Resilient Land Program. LandIT was responsible for facilitating negotiations, conducting due diligence and feasibility studies, providing advice on agreements, stakeholder engagement, providing ad hoc real estate and commercial advice, developing site investment proposals.

LandIT has been an integral part of the ongoing Resilient Lands Program. This has resulted in two recent major housing announcements to support flood affected residents comprising, 400 dwellings in East Lismore and 50 dwellings at Goonellabah.
